December 15, 1791 -  Following ratification by the state of Virginia, the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution, known collectively as the Bill of Rights, become the law of the land.

December 16, 1773- In Boston Harbor, a group of Massachusetts colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians board three British tea ships and dump 342 chests of tea into the harbor.
 
Decemberr 17, 1903- Near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, Orville and Wilbur Wright make the first successful flight in history of a self-propelled, heavier-than-air aircraft. 
 
December 18, 1865- Following its ratification by the requisite three-quarters of the states earlier in the month, the 13th Amendment is formally adopted into the U.S. Constitution, ensuring that “neither slavery nor involuntary servitude… shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”
 
December 19, 1944- At a meeting of senior Allied commanders, Eisenhower decides to appoint Field Marshal Montgomery, commanding British 21st Army Group, to lead all Allied forces to the north of ” the Bulge” in the line created by the German attack.
 
December 20, 1989- The United States invades Panama in an attempt to overthrow military dictator Manuel Noriega, who had been indicted in the United States on drug trafficking charges and was accused of suppressing democracy in Panama and endangering U.S. nationals. 
 
December 21, 1968- Apollo 8, the first manned mission to the moon, is successfully launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, with astronauts Frank Borman, James Lovell, Jr., and William Anders aboard.

Introduction

Thank you for your participation with Veterans' Outreach's Mission!  As free Americans, it is our duty to "honor and serve" as many veterans as possible.  Over the last decade Veterans' Outreach has helped  veterans thousands of times.  The next decade we hope to help veterans over 100,000 times!  This ambitious directive lies in your hands and your heart.  Our members collective passion and team spirit will strengthen Veterans' Outreach Programs as we grow through our membership.  We thank you for your involvement and your support.  Our veterans need you...now and always!

Membership Drive

 Anyone can sign up to be a member. It is free! Everyone is automatically entered into a $25 monthly cash drawing.  If you would like to be a Sponsoring Member, you can pledge a weekly, monthly, or yearly offering.  You also can make a single donation. PayPal has many ways to set up payment for you, credit card(credit/debit) or electronic checking.

Membership Ranking

Veterans' Outreach would like to offer ranks for the strongest supporters, like the military does by offering promotions from Private to General. Your rank will reflect your strength as an ongoing supporter. Your rank will automatically change as your periodic donations accumulate, during the life of your membership. Please check out our ranking table and see where you want to be!

Member's Activity

Our site is a work in progress.  Members will be able to purchase unique products from our Depot.  You will be able to take part of our AUCTION where you can bid on items or have items bid on.  You will be able to download music from our Music Gallery, get involved with important topics, submit a story for our News Journal, visit our Internet WAR Museum, or post a loved one in our Tribute Hall .  Enjoy the site and we hope that you make it yours by becoming a member!
