September 15, 1935 - In Berlin, the Reich under Adolf Hitler adopted The Nuremberg Laws which deprived German Jews of their citizenship, made the swastika the official symbol of Nazi Germany and established gradations of “Jewishness.”
September 16, 1620-The Mayflower sails from Plymouth, England, bound for the New World with 102 passengers. The ship was headed for Virginia, where the colonists–half religious dissenters and half entrepreneurs–had been authorized to settle by the British crown.
September 17, 1787- The Constitution of the United States of America is signed by 38 of 41 delegates present at the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.
September 18, 1885- The Statue of Liberty, a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States, arrives in New York City’s harbor.
September 19, 1881 - Eighty days after a failed office seeker shot him in Washington, D.C., President James A. Garfield dies of complications from his wounds.
September 20, 1917 - The 26th “Yankee” Division (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT) becomes the first American division to arrive in Europe during World War I.
September 21, 1951 - Operation SUMMIT, the first helicopter landing of a combat unit in history, took place.

If you would like to be a Sponsoring Member, you can pledge a weekly, monthly, or yearly offering. You also can make a single donation. PayPal has many ways to set up payment for you, credit card(credit/debit) or electronic checking.
