February 23, 1945 – During the bloody Battle for Iwo Jima, U.S. Marines from the 3rd Platoon, E Company, 2nd Battalion, 28th Division take the crest of Mount Suribachi, the island’s highest peak and most strategic position, and raise the U.S. flag.
 
February 24, 1982 - President Ronald Reagan announces a new program of economic and military assistance to nations of the Caribbean designed to “prevent the overthrow of the governments in the region” by the “brutal and totalitarian” forces of communism. 
 
February 25, 1944 - In the climax of the “Big Week” bombing campaign, aircraft of the US 8th Air Force (830 bombers) and the US 15th Air Force (150 bombers), with fighter escorts, conduct a daylight raid of the Messerschmitt works at Regensburg and Augsburg. 
 
February 26, 1984–The last U.S. Marines sent to Lebanon as part of a multinational peacekeeping force leave Beirut, the war-torn Lebanese capital where some 250 of the original 800 Marines lost their lives during the problem-plagued 18-month mission. 
 
February 27, 1968 - CBS News anchorman Walter Cronkite‘s commentary on the progress of the Vietnam War solidified President Lyndon B. Johnson‘s decision not to seek reelection in 1968.
 
February 28, 1994 - In the first military action in the 45-year history of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), U.S. fighter planes shoot down four Serbian warplanes engaged in a bombing mission in violation of Bosnia’s no-fly zone.
 
March 01, 2003 - In Pakistan a joint raid outside Islamabad by CIA and Pakistani agents led to the arrest of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks, along with 2 others.

Thank you for your participation with Veterans' Outreach's Mission!  As free Americans, it is our duty to "honor and serve" as many veterans as possible.  Over the last decade Veterans' Outreach has helped  veterans thousands of times.  The next decade we hope to help veterans over 100,000 times!  This ambitious directive lies in your hands and your heart.  Our members collective passion and team spirit will strengthen Veterans' Outreach Programs as we grow through our membership.  We thank you for your involvement and your support.  Our veterans need you...now and always!

Membership Drive

 Anyone can sign up to be a member. It is free! Everyone is automatically entered into a $25 monthly cash drawing.  If you would like to be a Sponsoring Member, you can pledge a weekly, monthly, or yearly offering.  You also can make a single donation. PayPal has many ways to set up payment for you, credit card(credit/debit) or electronic checking.

Membership Ranking

Veterans' Outreach would like to offer ranks for the strongest supporters, like the military does by offering promotions from Private to General. Your rank will reflect your strength as an ongoing supporter. Your rank will automatically change as your periodic donations accumulate, during the life of your membership. Member's Activity

Our site is a work in progress.  Members will be able to purchase unique products from our Depot.  You will be able to take part of our AUCTION where you can bid on items or have items bid on.  You will be able to download music from our Music Gallery, get involved with important topics, submit a story for our News Journal, visit our Internet WAR Museum, or post a loved one in our Tribute Hall .  Enjoy the site and we hope that you make it yours by becoming a member!
