Update on new Sarasota, FL office
Caitlin Steinberg, staff writer
Having opened its doors this March, the newest addition to the Veterans’ Outreach fleet has come out swingin’. Regional Manager, Robert Graham has been busy organizing and setting up the office that is now located in Sarasota, Florida.
“Much of it is up and running now,” Graham said. “[Everything] is furnished, communications services such as telephones and computers are in, security, counted receipts, reporting, etc.”
After relocating to the thriving Sarasota, Veterans’ Outreach is looking forward to spreading its roots and getting down to business.
“We’ve had our first veteran in for assistance and have begun to reach out to the community and veterans services- but that is only the beginning,” Graham said.
The large amount of effort and dedication spent opening the Veterans’ Outreach’s newest office in Sarasota is typical of that required to run each of their locations. Donated time, hard work, and optimism are among the qualities of all Veterans’ Outreach’s volunteers and employees- qualities which will ensure the Sarasota office’s success.
“Meanwhile, we’ve been expanding,” Graham explained.
“...our 10 reps, with another [interview] scheduled at the end of this week, have increased the level of contributions,” Graham said. “The upward trends are encouraging!”
With plenty of remaining tasks including organizing the office’s exterior, signs, and bus routing info, the staff in Sarasota will have their hands full this summer- and they couldn’t be more excited about it.
If you or anyone you know are interested in volunteering your time at the Sarasota office or any of our other locations, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Our work to serve America’s veterans and their families is never ending.
