Veterans' Outreach Receives Donation From Home Savings Charitable Foundation

Youngstown, OH  (August 17, 2012) – Veterans’ Outreach, a non-profit, charitable organization, was recently presented with a check for $5,000 from the Home Savings Charitable Foundation for annual program support.

According to Robert Julian, Vice President of Veterans’ Outreach, the organization has a primary mission of serving and honoring all veterans. “Each individual has unique needs that are identified through personal one-on-one interviews,” he said. “We endeavor to use our program resources to offer a hand up, not just a hand out, to benefit veterans and in turn communities and this great nation.”

Veterans’ Outreach offers many services, including but are not limited to: shelter for homeless vets, rent, utility payments for terminated or near-termination accounts, auto repair, clothing, insurances, relocation, glasses and lay counseling. “We work with other organizations and agencies that provide aid to veterans in need in order to reach the most beneficial arrangement for each veteran,” Julian added.

“We are really proud to be able to support Veterans’ Outreach in their patriotic spirit of supporting this country and its’ service men and women,” said Darlene Pavlock, Executive Director, Home Savings Charitable Foundation.
