Today’s Case of the Week comes from our Hartselle, AL office written by Mike Johnson, our Event Coordinator there.
We got a call from a veteran who had fallen on hard times and had fallen behind on his rent, he was very distraught and did not know where to turn.
We assured him that we could help and to send his paperwork via email. In short order, we received his email and the paperwork showed the necessary I.D.s. It also showed that he and his family were to be evicted that day the 25th.
Our Regional Director sprang into action and called the apartment manager and told her that we would help and pledged enough money to enable the family to ward off eviction. It truly is better to give than to receive.
